This Heron is out for lunch.

Well, this post is a little overdue.  Anyway, a few months ago we both successfully reached Virginia, and settled in to our new apartment.  It’s larger than our first apartment, and smaller than our last.  However, we have a nice office area, space for our Christmas tree (and all the branches are on!), and the kitchen is large enough for two people and has a window and a dish washer.  We also live in a pretty complex with a walking trail that connects to our favorite farm walk.  We can see cows, calfs, juncos, donkeys, sheep and horses in the various pastures.  We were also fortunate to see a great blue heron hunting (?) in one of the fields.
