February 26, 2011 – Today, we visited Caliente Restaurant. Tony tried the pulled pork enchiladas with green chili, and Louisa had the pulled pork burrito with cheddar cheese. The meal started with homemade tortilla chips and salsa, which were fresh and tasty. The main courses themselves were the stars. We’d put our meals today up against any of the (fantastic) food we tried in Santa Fe, NM, or Denver, CO. The pulled pork was better than a lot of the pork we’ve tried at BBQ places, and was juicy and tender without gristle (or vinegar).
