Cafe Medley is a cute little coffee shop on Sullivan’s Island that serves a lot more than just coffee. They have some great looking desserts (lemon bars, s’mores bars, espresso brownies and ice cream, among other things), sandwiches and an entire wall devoted to (mostly very reasonably priced) wine. We stopped in during the afternoon on our way to the beach and were immediately greeted by a jam circle of guitarists on the porch, which was kind of cool. It didn’t hurt that they knew how to play. We just wanted some drinks to take to the beach, and settled on the iced mocha and a hot chai latte. The chai was strongly spiced, though you do get used to the cinnamon about halfway through the drink. It was good, not amazing. The mocha was amazing. It was rich and chocolate-y, and very, very drinkable. It might be one of the best iced mochas we’ve had, and we’d definitely get it again. They also have wine tasting on Wednesday nights; this is *still* on our to-do list, but we hope to get out there soon!
