Moving, Part II

Louisa’s parents flew into town this past weekend for a whirlwind trip throughout Denver.

Dinosaur Ridge

We went to Dinosaur Ridge and saw dinosaur footprints fossilized in the rocks. Interestingly, the footprints were discovered during a road construction project.

We also travelled into the mountains to go to Idaho Springs and eat at the Buffalo restaurant. While there we enjoyed the enormous buffalo (and beef) burgers and the french fries. We also ate at Macaroni Grill, which has delicious Italian food, and enjoyed ice cream at Coldstone Creamery. Needless to say, we had some good food this weekend.

Tony on Couch

We also had a lot of help moving into our new apartment, and moving out of and cleaning the old apartment. So, between the four of us, a full day and a half of moving, plus untold evenings of unpacking, were condensed into 2.5 action-packed days of moving, cleaning, packing, driving, and unpacking. Now, the apartment, while not spotless, is looking pretty darn good. Pictures are coming soon (as soon as we get them edited and posted)!
